VINTAGE FASHION PORTFOLIO
My love for fashion blossomed at an early age. I have vivid memories of my mom, Sonata, sketching outfits for my Barbie dolls, which I would eagerly color in. However, it wasn't until 2019 that my true fashion journey began. The styles of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s became my primary sources of inspiration during this period. The thrift store became my go-to treasure trove to search for exquisite pieces from those eras.
My mother played a pivotal role in shaping my fashion sense. In 1996, she made a life-changing move from the small Eastern European country of Lithuania to the United States. It was a remarkable transition for her and once she could afford it, she began shopping from mall brands such as Bebe, Arden B., The Limited, Express, and Guess- brands that have now become my own coveted finds in thrift stores. It's a beautifully full-circle moment for me every time I sift through the racks at the thrift. The photos below represent the evolution of my style and curation capabilities.
